Online Courses – NPTEL
National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is an initiative by seven IITs and IISc Bangalore for creating course content in Engineering and Science. This offers free online courses for updating students’ professional knowledge. Our institute is registered as a SPOC (2017-2018) for registering our students to make use of this opportunity. The total number of students and staff registered various courses as follows,

Smart India Hackathon
Smart India Hackathon 2018 (Digital Product Development Competition)is jointly organized by All India Council for Technical Institutions (AICTE), New Delhi and Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), New Delhi.Around 50 Central Government Ministries and 25 State Governments are participating in this Hackathon 2018. There are four batches of students registered in this mega Hackathon 2018.
Youth4work
Youth4work (AICTE approved body) is organizing Online Talent Test to assess students skills such as aptitude, communication, engineering, management etc. More than 20 meritorious students attended this test and got self analysis report to improve their skills to next level.
RVS Student Start-up Schemes
The scheme“RVS Student Start-up Grant (SSG)” is an initiative of our Management. This is mainly launched to bring out the innovative ideas for current technologies and potential available with the students. The features of the scheme are,
- 20,000/- financial assistance to all student start-ups
- Cash awards Rs. 50,000/-, Rs. 30,000/- and Rs. 20,000/- for first, second and third prizes for selected start-ups
- Extending financial support for commercializing the product
